Mango joins the fight against breast cancer with a solidarity collection

Coinciding with the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which takes place every October, and with the celebration of the next International Day Against Breast Cancer, an awareness day that takes place every October 19 month, the fashion firm Mango once again joins the cause by launching a solidarity collection to benefit the Fero Foundation. Spanish private institution dedicated to promoting cancer research, founded in 2001 by Dr. Josep Baselga and currently chaired by businesswoman Sol Daurella.

Now available both in a selection of physical establishments selected from about twenty markets such as Spain, France, or Italy, as well as through the chain's online store, the collection is made up of a women's line made up of three different models of T-shirts (15.99 euros), two bags and a toiletry bag, and a men's line, in this case consisting of only two models of T-shirts. All of them illustrated with different messages of "strength", such as "Hope", "Do it", "Love", "Stronger together" or "Join the fight", whose profits will be donated entirely to the Fero Foundation, thus following previous initiatives such as the one undertaken last year, and with which Mango managed to raise more than 175,000 euros for the benefit of the organization.

"The collaboration between Mango and the Fero Foundation dates back to 2008, when the sisters Penélope and Mónica Cruz, together with the fashion firm, designed a t-shirt to cooperate in the fight against Breast Cancer", Mango explains through a statement. Already “in 2010 and 2011, Mango commercialized a t-shirt designed by Jordi Labanda in collaboration with the Foundation”, and “since 2017, both entities collaborate with the launch of an annual collection to raise funds for Breast Cancer research” . Throughout this time, this association, among other actions, "has created the call for a Fero-Mango Grant on breast cancer, which promotes the career of young researchers in this field", and that "this year will launch its third edition ”.
