In its summer 2022 edition, MoWeek is once again betting on virtuality

Buenos Aires - From the organization of the Montevideo Fashion Week (MoWeek) they announced that the next edition 2022 will continue with the online modality and some reduced face-to-face events will be added.

“Our business pillar is fundamental to brands and is, in part, what gives our community a long life. From Moweek we see the opportunity to grow in the online sales channel and this is what motivates us to develop even more in the digital world ", said the director of Moweek Sofía Inciarte through a statement.

As has been happening for some editions, you will be able to access the Marketplace in the “preview” on October 18 and during the MoWeek weekend from October 29 to 31. There, more than 90 brands will be exhibiting their products through virtual showrooms and the public will have the possibility to buy clothes at a discount.

In addition, they announced that there will be several catwalks and fashion presentations by Uruguayan brands and designers such as Margo Baridon, Petra, Margara Shaw, Rosa Rosa, Amen, Mandinga, Babila and Las Marcas (Agnes L., SierraMora and Actitud Sur).

As they anticipated, this edition will bet on a differential for the author's design together with references such as Tavo Garcia, Calu Rocha, Agustina Urioste and Clara Aguayo.

The last weekend of October Casa MoWeek will be held at the Hyatt Centric Montevideo hotel. There the public will be received -with limited capacity- in a showroom that will offer some of the most outstanding garments of the season so that the consumer can appreciate the fashion proposals in person.

Sisters Analía and Luciana Pereyra, founders of the Mandinga brand, who have participated in MoWeek since its inception, were summoned for this season's campaign. Sofía Inciarte highlighted that with these photos “Moweek found the ideal opportunity to celebrate the brand's DNA” and highlights that it “maintains an imprint that risks and bets on the use of colors to communicate its essence. It expanded from Salto to Montevideo and from Montevideo to the world “since today its collections can be found in the United States, Spain, Amsterdam, London, New Zealand and Switzerland.
